LBS ran by me at Beacons Dist-1 less than a few days ago, so I know she still runs Droks, or at least practices running it. I occasially do dry runs for fun as well, just to keep the skills up, though I tend to hate committing 30 minutes to each run, especially with people getting Err=7, pretending to be AFK, or simply not paying at the destination. That's OK, I've finally gotten the nerve to have other passengers regroup at Beacons and abandon the non-payer before entering Camp Rankor.

It is possible to beat the hardest spawns in Lonar's, and I have done so, both with a W/Mo build and a W/R build. Osirod is right that the run is very difficult to beat 100% of the time because it is extremely inconsistent (going from some very, very tough solo runs to some spawns that are absolute child's play). I have explained as much earlier in this thread and why I believe it is a poor design decision. Dual runners are safer, and I know of no one who isn't in the LBS system who can beat that hardest spawn, but there may be someone out there.
As for your comments, generik, you need to check your facts and talk to your Guildy. People are welcome to state their opinions, but I find outright lies objectionable. I don't race people on various races. My build is a build for reliability, not speed, and there are random elements in a multi-runner sprint as Lord Shar points out, that make it hard to win reliably even if you are the best. So I don't race people, simply because I rarely have time and I don't want to give them bragging rights. Of course, I am challenged to runs daily. I was in beacons a while back when 5 people were talking about me in public chat without knowing I was there. I joined their group to watch them run, but some moron in the group kept leaving everytime I finished Lonar's (he didn't move until the whole pack was almost done with that part and then he would back into Beacons. I think two people were paired up to "cheat" in the race and one would whisper back to retreat into town if he wasn't winning at the end of the section.) It was about the dumbest thing I have ever seen, especially since I was just there to humor them and give them some tips as they ran and after he reset the map a couple of times as we were at the end, I left (I also had an extremely important trade for a truly unique sword come up, so had to go anyway). I would have been able to watch the entire run of theirs if the guy did not keep resetting the map, but I had to leave in the end and was never killed. So generik, please ask your guildmate not to lie.

If someone guarantees a run, it's all lies. It's all dependant on spawns, that's why dual runs are being done, as simple as that.

This is what I have noticed. I have been run by about 9 people in the last 2 days. The only groups that made it were the teams. I had a lvl 6 monk I brought up and it took me more than 18 attempts before I just gave up and went with a team. There were worms coming up past the cave were all the avicara seem to hang out. I would say this happend about 1 in every 3 runs. This particular group made the run on there first attempt.
He freely described me the build:
Gladiators Armor:
Sup Vigor
Sup Absorb
Minor Tactic
Minor Strength
Balthazars Spirit
Mending
Balanced Stance
Healing Signet
Charge
Sprint
Healing Breeze
Strength 10+1
Healing 8
Tactics 11+1
The majority of the people that ran me were using something similar to this, or a build that had Purge Conditions, Smite Hex, and Holy Veil thrown in it. If anyone can run me solo please PM, I would love to see it.

The single hardest part of Lornars section is the first cave. The imp patrol routes have been changed, and a third wurm was added. My war/monk build could easily handle 2 wurms doing chain knockdowns while mending was up, but the third wurm simply ate too much life too fast, and they also hexed with suffering. Typical routine was to hug the right wall, wait at the corner just before the cave while the 3-imp patrol ran by, then start "walking" to the first avicara. Wurms will be knocking you down during this approach. Just before agroing the avicara, activate charge + balanced stance to run through. If you're lucky, you'll have a rest spot near the cave exit. If not, they you're either SOL or going to be very low on life after passing the ice golems and pinesouls. This is where most runs are made or broken -- at the golems + pinesouls. A running pair can have one member decoy the golems/pines, thereby making the run much easier for the other.

If you guys think you are getting a great deal paying 300+K to call yourself a LBS runner and get a customized forgerunner, fine, be my guest. Just don't stand around Beacons and act as though LBS means anything, because it obviously doesn't.
If my experience is worth anything you guys are just a bunch of runners who memorised every single cluster and rest spot, and with the new patch are completely forked over.
Learn to think for yourself, that's the real transferable skill you can get.

These are an awful lot of accusations without one single shread of eveidence. If you want to spew bullshit like that have the balls to prove it.
